Frequently Asked Questions

What if the weather turns bad?

St Augustine, FL on average has chamber of commerce weather. But, there are times that the weather is less than average and can be un-fishable. In this case, the Captain will have the sole authority to cancel, proceed with, and/or terminate the fishing trip because of weather. The 50' Never Enough can comfortably fish or cruise in sea conditions that keep smaller boats at the dock.

As to fish ability, there are several situations to address:

1) Prior to the charter fishing date or prior to leaving the dock:

a. The charter can be re-scheduled for a different date/time
b. If the sea conditions are un-fishable the charter monies paid will be refunded
c. The charter may proceed in more protected waters
d. The Captain may advise the clients that the sea conditions are marginal but fishable

2) After leaving the dock, there will be no refunds or reduction in the charter price:

a. If the Captain has advised the client that the sea conditions were marginal, but become un-fishable, the Never Enough will return to port.
b. If the Captain deems the sea conditions fishable, but the clients collectively request that the Never Enough return to port, the Never Enough will return to port.
c. If the Captain deems the sea conditions fishable, and some but not all of the clients request that the Never Enough return to port, the Captain will abide by the decision made by the whole party. This can happen especially when mal de mare besets only some of the passengers. Those afflicted can be very opinionated and down right nasty, but the decision to return or not return to port will have to be a collective one by the clients.
